Download and Installation

1. Open Internet Explorer and type http://www.java.sun.com/ in the address bar of your browser.
2. On the following screen click the "Downloads" link in the upper, left-hand corner.
3. Use the first drop-down menu to select the option "J2SE 1.4.2" and click the "Go" button.
4. Under the "J2SE v 1.4.2_09 JRE" heading, click the "Download Windows J2SE JRE" link.
5. Read the license agreement, click "Accept".
6. On the next screen click "Windows Installation, Multi-language" to begin the download and installation process.
7. On the following screen, Security Warning pop-up will appear click "Run"
8. Read the license agreement, click "I accept the terms in the license agreement", and then click "Next".
9. On the Setup Type screen, be sure "Typical" is selected, and click "Next".
10. When the Installation Wizard Completed screen appears, click "Finish".

NOTE: After completing the installation, be sure to close your browser. Then, you may open a new browser at your convenience, to log in to the Internet Solution online training system.
